Owner Dr Moula Miah opened this top class restaurant
in 1987 with his brother Mumit as chef and Mr M Khan running front of
house. Much of the same team that started at this 100 cover
restaurant are still providing the same efficient, knowledgeable
service which is unusual in itself. Two years ago we said this was
probably the best Bangladeshi restaurant in Britain but the menu has
progressed even beyond that to its own, distinctive (Red D) style. As
for decor, it has now moved with the times to be modern with wooded
floors and an open dining area. Always very popular. 'Best
in Britain 1994-2001' Nomination 2005-7. British

Moin Uddin and his team opened this restaurant in 1989
and have always tried (and succeeded) to give their customers the
very best they can. The decor is very smart and the 45 diners can
enjoy the extensive menu in comfort. Mr Uddin has been careful to
match his product to the requirements of the local market and the
popularity of his restaurant underlines his wisdom. Good food and
very friendly service. 'Best in Britain Award 1995-6' 'Best
in Britain Nomination 1999' |

Situated in prime location adjacent to the `Skydome

at Coventrys rejuvenated Canal Basin, Turmeric Gold is ideally
placed for that special occasion. The restaurant is set in a 15th
century building in the heart of Medieval Coventry. Turmeric Gold
offers top quality fusion, Indian and Thai dishes cooked with passion
and served with an unrivalled professionalism and dedication to
customer satisfaction, in a glorious `olde worlde` setting. The
building has retained much of its medieval character but the
dishes bring that extra bit of spice to make your experience that
extra bit special. Try the fantastic Maharaja's Banqueting Room. Run
