Vujon means gourmet diner so you have an idea what to
expect from the start. Opened by Matab Miah in 1990 Vujon has been at
the top of the tree in the area ever since. Its 100 seater interior
is spacious and very smartly decorated to enable diners to relax and
enjoy some very high standard food. Once described by no less a
person than Madhur Jaffrey as "an excellent restaurant".

Established in 1995, the restaurant has become

Owner Athair Khan personally selects and trains the
staff and Head Chef Fozlur Rahman ensures top class cuisine with
creativity and the use of the finest fresh ingredients. A leading
figure in the local business community, Athair Khan has used his
influence to promote a multi cultural socienty in the north east. The
restaurant is involved in nuerous charity initiatives and cultural
projects to raise awareness of Indian culture and integrate it into
